The Burn

Turning information into knowledge is a difficult process, the advent of the written word has enabled us to store some of our knowledge externally, usually in the form of writing or images which we can refer to over time. Notebooks however have an inherent drawback: they are static, they require that we actively reference them in order to commit our knowledge to memory.

Mindburn:"Once you have created your note you can forget about it!"

For an application making the claim of improving your memory the above seems an unlikely statement. The point is that acquiring new knowledge is a burden, to be able to retain something in memory we must review it at specific periods, remembering when best to do this is difficult and causes stress and worry. The issue is: remembering to remember! Mindburn takes on this burden for us, instead of leaving us to come up with ad-hoc review times - or worse, leaving it to chance - Mindburn brings notes due for review to our attention.
